We’d like for you to meet our talented and caring dental team.
Hello, my name is Crystal and I am a Dental Assistant. I’ve worked at the office since September, 2009. It was a blessing that I was selected for the job and I was treated as a part of the team right away. I graduated from Happy Valley High School with Honors the Spring of 1998 and entered East Tennessee State University that Fall. I was accepted into the University’s Dental Assistant program and received my certification in 2000. I am licensed by the Tennessee State Board of Dental Examiners in nitrous oxide monitoring, radiology, and am trained in basic life support. I also hold certifications in Infection Control and OSHA Regulations for dental offices and have my certification for expanded functions to place Sealants and do Coronal Polishing. I have found that being a Dental Assistant for over sixteen years has given me a greater understanding of the needs of my patients and the ability to make their experience in our office as pleasant and stress free as possible.
I current reside in Johnson City with my husband, Jay and two beautiful children , Noah and Kaleigh. Our life is very active with Volleyball, Basketball, and Fishing. The Lord has truly blessed me with a wonderful family and work staff.
While working with the practice, I have had the opportunity to attend many continuing education courses. I feel it is very important to our practice, and the patients we treat, to continue to learn and stay up to date on the changes within the dental field. I am committed to treating my patients with the utmost care and compassion. My goal is to treat all patients the way I would want to be treated… AS FAMILY!

Hi, I am Kristi, one of the office’s hygienists. My dental career began as an assistant in 1992 and began working here in 1995. After working as his assistant for 16 years, I chose to extend my dental knowledge and returned to school. In 2010 I graduated East Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Upon graduating, I rejoined the practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
While working here I have had the opportunity to attend many continuing education courses. It is very important to us to keep up with current dental technology and ideas to better serve our patients. I attend these classes because I know that they will help me to be a better dental professional and ultimately enable me to better address our patients needs.
I am not new to the area. I was born and raised in Carter County and currently reside in Valley Forge with my husband, Craig and our beautiful daughter, Destini. Destini is very active in sports, playing basketball, softball, and dance. We also have a son, Dustin and a daughter-in-law, Chelsey. They have given us our first grandson, Sage Neyland. Sage is truly a gift from God. He has all of us wrapped around his little finger. Spending time and making memories with my family is what I enjoy most. As a family, we attend Pearce’s Chapel FWB Church in Hampton.
My vision as a dental hygienist is to be patient centered; always using my clinical skills and knowledge to assist our patients in reaching their dental needs and desires. With this in mind, I want to always stay focused on listening to our patients and learning new and better ways to serve them. I feel, that if I continue to stay patient centered I will never lose sight of what is important to me professionally, providing quality dental care to our patients, thus keeping them happy and smiling. My goal in the practice is to treat each individual as if they were a member of my family and put their needs and wants first. I hope you will feel that I am constantly striving to achieve this goal.
